Looking Back: Thanksgiving 2011

For Thanksgiving, we made a trip back to Washington to see Virginia's family. Since only a few people had come down to Utah, we were super excited to show of Alexander to the rest of her family. We spent a week visiting family and friends and had Thanksgiving dinner at Aunt Debbie and Uncle Ed's house. Alexander was so popular that at one point during the night, Scott looked at Virginia and said, "Do you know where Alexander is?" She just enjoyed the break and said, "Oh he's somewhere around here." Here are a few pictures from Thanksgiving day:

The turkey must have really worn us all out because naps were a regular occurrence on the trip. On Thanksgiving Day, we all cuddled on Dad and took a nap. Since there is no photo evidence of that, I added another nap picture for you to enjoy below:

On Thanksgiving, Alexander gave us a special treat. He rolled over for the very first time! It was so exciting and we were lucky enough to get it on film. Below is a short video of him rolling over:

We had this cute picture taken of Alexander for Thanksgiving:

After the Thanksgiving fun, we did some visiting of friends and family. Below are some pictures of our fun. We had fun teaching Alexander how to drive, visited the Botanical Gardens, and visited a few friends and were given a cute lemon head hat for Alexander. Enjoy the pictures:

Because we weren't able to come back for Christmas, Virginia's family held a mini-Christmas, a few days after Thanksgiving. We were able to open some gifts and celebrate a little. It was lots of fun. Here are some pictures from that event:

Then, after all the fun, it was time to go home. While at the airport, Alexander figured out how to stick his toes through the blanket holes. I thought it was adorable and promptly took a picture!

Well, that is the extent of our Thanksgiving fun. Hope you enjoyed it! Tune in next time for 2011 Christmas memories :)
